Day before Good Friday - Reflect on Jesus' Last Week

  • Mar 25, 2010

On Thursday 1st April the final reflective service takes place at PBC from 8pm lasting half an hour to enable a time of daily reflection and worship based on the accounts in the gospel of Mark of the 'last week' that Jesus walked with the disciples towards Jerusalem and the events of Easter.

Do come along and pause in this busy life for a short time to ponder and worship God's words and actions seen through Jesus, His beloved Son.  David Marfleet takes the first half hour tonight with Simon Cragg, Jennifer Roberts and Colin Burgess giving short talks on the following evenings.

Back to Church Sunday - 26th September 2010

31st August, 2010

On Sunday 26th September, PBC is joining in the national initiative 'Back to Church Sunday', an annual set aside Sunday which provides a great opportunity to invite friends, family and neighbours along for a taster of 'church'. There are prayer cards and invitation cards available from the Church Welcome Table or the Church Office. Do start praying for those you would like to invite along to this 'Come as You Are' morning service, and give them the invitation card or just ask them! Rev. Wayne Alexander will be sharing the good news of Jesus with us after spending time in worship. You don't have to wait for an invite if you'd like to join us in worship - you're welcome anyway!
