How Can You Serve at PBC This Christmas

  • Nov 20, 2009

There is an exciting programme of events and services this December and we are looking forward to keeping the focus on Jesus throughout this season. We need your help, as members and congregation at PBC, to make these special Christmas events and services unforgettable for our guests and visitors.

The PBC Art Gallery, themed on the question 'What does Christmas mean to you?' is open from Monday 14th to Friday 18th December. We also have a 4pm, 6pm and 8pm Carols by Candlelight services, with the new 4pm service designed specifically for 2-7 year olds and their families. In addition, we have Christmas Eve and Christmas Day services where additional serving would really help make this a special time for visitors to PBC.  Please lend a hand and a willing heart to make a difference. You can sign up in the Church Foyer or complete the form below. Whether it is hosts, set-up/set-down, praying, refreshments, choir, hospitality, or something else, there is a role for you!

If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact the Church Office by email on or by telephone 01892 825590.

Pastor Dave Baxter's New Year Message

10th January, 2012

Pastor Dave Baxter welcomed in the new year in the PBC News with a story of Hans Nielsen Hauge. That touch of God's hand and answer to prayer was the start of Hauge's God-driven mission to the whole of the Norwegian people. It was a time when Norwegians were emigrating to America and consequently, Hauge's teaching on repentance and salvation went over to the US with the Lutherans. What will God do in our lives this year? What are we praying for? Click on the header for the story and our Pastor's welcome in full. Happy New Year!
