Dear Wayne, Elders and Members,
I wanted to write this letter of thanks to everyone involved in PBC. Over the years I have spent at PBC, being a member and working in the office, I have found how grateful I am that the Lord has used me in the way that he has. It has not always been an easy road but life gives you the opportunity to grow in many ways.
I want to thank everyone for being who they are and supporting me in the role of Administrator. Although having a secretarial background, I have learnt so much more and enjoyed every day being in the church office. The love and commitment from everyone within our church family is wonderful to see and I feel that PBC will stand out within the community for the foreseeable future. My dealings with each and everyone of you has been an immense pleasure and I have felt it a privilege to get to know nearly everyone of you within our church family.
Jennifer Roberts will be taking up the role of Administrator on the 3 November and moving it forward to new horizons. I am sure you will give her every support in the same way as you have given me.
My thanks also go to my dear husband, Bernie, who has been there for me in my times of need, especially stuffing envelopes and helping me to deliver them.
Since my retirement in August, I have started the day-time Small Group and joined the Day Centre team, I feel that my life has moved in yet another direction and the Lord has given me yet another opportunity to enrich my life by giving to others.
God bless you all and I look forward to the exciting times ahead at Pembury Baptist Church. Thank you.
Rosie
