Thank You

We have received several 'thank yous' since Christmas for various services PBC has provided in our local communities, particularly for the Christmas hampers.  You have been a part of enabling these gifts and services, whether through the giving of your money or your time and expertise, so you too are due thanks.

Here are just some examples:

'Thank you all for your kind thoughts and hard work in getting the hampers out .... in time for Christmas.  I can honestly say that it made some of the families' Christmas .. it made their lives a little better.  I have had parents coming up to me today (9th January 09) saying how nice it was to have special treats and extra food.  Thank you.'

'It lifted my spirits when I received the Christmas hamper you delivered.'

'On behalf of the families we support, we would like to thank your Church for the Christmas hampers you so kindly supplied.  The families were really appreciative, one or two were in tears.  Please thank everyone involved.'

From Greg Clark, MP in his Christmas card to PBC:

'Wayne and everyone at PBC .... with warm regards and admiration for everything you do for our community'.

It is because of your generous giving in money, time and expertise that we receive these encouragements to continue and increase our serving for God's glory and the furtherance of His Kingdom.  Please continue to give in whichever way you are able, whether serving in the Sunday services or in one of the community projects or in your generous funding.  Thank you.

Easter Sunday - Baptisms and The Miracle Maker

2nd April, 2012

Easter week at PBC has some thought provoking and interesting opportunities for worship and glorifying our living God. There's Good Friday service at 10am, followed by the Walk of Witness at 11am to the Village Green for the HOPE Pembury Churches Together annual service on the green. Hot cross buns and refreshments will be served at the Hanes' home after the service finishes. And on Easter Sunday, there's three baptisms taking place in the morning at 10am followed by a family opportunity at 5pm to enjoy a cinematic experience with popcorn, icecream and fizzy pop whilst watching The Miracle Maker.
