I've spent the last couple of months working steadily at Hospice, with a short trip to the Hospice in Mbarara (about 4 hours SW) at the start of June. It's been great but sadly, on Friday I said goodbye to people at Hospice: I am not leaving Africa until 24th July but am spending my last 5 weeks travelling.
The last 5 months have flown by ... such a blessing considering how lost and alone I felt on first arriving! People here keep asking if I will come back; I really really hope so!
In terms of prayer requests, these are the things for my last month:
1. My family are arriving tomorrow (I am so excited!!!): that they will have a safe journey and will not find it too much of a culture shock being here!
2. For safe travels - we are driving to the far south-west of Uganda (or rather, I am driving) then going to Kenya. Please pray for safety and that the time will be enjoyable (despite the bad roads we aregoing to be on!)
3. That I will be ready to leave on 24th July; at the moment I don't want to come home!
God has been so good to me and I remember every day how blessed I am. Thank you so much for all your support over the last 5 months and I look forwards to seeing you in August!
