Here at PBC, on Saturday 22nd May, we are hosting the Walk Through the Bible interactive seminar as part of our Catalyst Day series which offers a unique 'big picture' approach to the Bible and the Old Testament.  The event will start at 9.30am and finish around 5pm.

John Reynolds, a former Youth Ministry Intern at PBC who has been to this seminar writes:

'The Walk Through the Bible seminar greatly benefitted my Biblical knowledge, as well as giving me an idea of the geography, the key characters and the chronology of the Old Testament. Most importantly it gets you excited about scripture and motivates you to read it with new eyes and understand it in new ways.

This is an absolute MUST for Christians and  those with an interest of any age, experience or maturity. I haven't heard a bad word said about it. I'll be dropping everything to be able to attend (again) and I'd recommend you do the same.'

In this short video, John tells you himself a little more about the benefit that he gained from his attendance at this seminar.

For more information, go to http://www.bible.org.uk/index.php to read or view video footage of part of a Walk Through event.

There is a cost of £12 per person but if this is not possible, please contact Jennifer in the Church Office on 01892825590 or by email to .  Please register for the seminar in the same way or by completing the form below.

Pastor Dave Baxter's New Year Message

10th January, 2012

Pastor Dave Baxter welcomed in the new year in the PBC News with a story of Hans Nielsen Hauge. That touch of God's hand and answer to prayer was the start of Hauge's God-driven mission to the whole of the Norwegian people. It was a time when Norwegians were emigrating to America and consequently, Hauge's teaching on repentance and salvation went over to the US with the Lutherans. What will God do in our lives this year? What are we praying for? Click on the header for the story and our Pastor's welcome in full. Happy New Year!
