Money Management Course

2010 DATES: to be confirmed shortly - held on three consecutive Sundays, 4-6pm and held in the Church Hall Lounge.

A comprehensive yet astonishingly simple money management course to help you get, and then stay, in control of your finances.

Through taking the course, delegates are helped and encouraged to think more about budgeting and living within their means, while also being shown a cash-based system that allows them to take control of their finances. See details of time, dates and venue below.

CAP Money is a three session, DVD-based course. For each session, there is a 30-minute presentation by John Kirkby, the Founder and International Director of CAP, and the remainder of the session is then facilitated by a Money Coach. Money Coaches are members from PBC who have been trained by CAP to run the course and be on hand to help with the preparation of budgets.

'We've just run our first CAP Money course and we are now planning three or four more. The course had a fantastic response.' - Alan Meyer, Senior Minister, Elim Community Church Carlisle

'We came out of the CAP Money course with a very clear approach to our finances, it set us up to be in total control' - CAP Money course delegate

If you are interested in this course, please call the Church Office on 01892 825590 or email to and register your interest.

Testimony - Saved from Self Harm

4th February, 2010

Becky gave her testimony on being freed from the addiction of self harm when Rev. Philip Davis spoke on 'Transformation' and has kindly allowed us to reproduce her words on the website for encouragement to a wider audience. We praise God for her freedom from this debilitating but common issue among young people and pray that it might make a difference to others to hear her words.
