Fitzgerald family"We are the Fitzgerald family. Paul, Holly, Guy (6) and Marcus (4). We live in Tunbridge Wells but our heart is in Pembury, because of the Church and the School and Nursery which our children attend. We both work as reporters on Meridian Tonight, the regional ITV evening news programme.

We have been members of Pembury Baptist Church for nearly 8 years. We started coming to the church when we moved to the area. We liked it because the leaders and the members were very down-to earth. The teaching was easy to listen to and relevant to the modern world. The worship and the atmosphere were uplifting and the people were genuinely friendly and not at all pushy. Eight years and two children later all the above is still true! Plus it is a great church to take the children to, lively and upbeat.

Sometimes being a journalist can make you cynical but being a part of P.B.C is a constant reminder that there is some Good News."

Pastor Dave Baxter's New Year Message

10th January, 2012

Pastor Dave Baxter welcomed in the new year in the PBC News with a story of Hans Nielsen Hauge. That touch of God's hand and answer to prayer was the start of Hauge's God-driven mission to the whole of the Norwegian people. It was a time when Norwegians were emigrating to America and consequently, Hauge's teaching on repentance and salvation went over to the US with the Lutherans. What will God do in our lives this year? What are we praying for? Click on the header for the story and our Pastor's welcome in full. Happy New Year!
