PBC's Annual General Meeting took place on Tuesday 20th April.  If you were not able to attend on the night or you are a member of the congregation, we have made two audio files available of Pastor Wayne Alexander looking back over 2009 at PBC and looking forward into 2010.  Also included in these tracks are the latest proposals regarding the evening service changes following constructive and encouraging responses from the church.  Click here for the 'Looking Back to 2009' file and here for the 'Looking Forward in 2010' audio track.

Wayne explains, 'I include our vision about the evening service in the coming season of May - July 2010. The final decision making straw for me was speaking to a teenager in our church called Jack who said to me that if we cut the evening service we're cutting what he knows as his church, where his faith is inspired and his friendships are developed. I looked at this admirable young man full of gifts and passion, who wants to be in church with other teenagers and adults, and I knew we had to think again about what we could do, even if we're unable to do what we used to do.'

Do listen to the audio tracks and rejoice with the church here at PBC in the wonderful work the Lord has done in 2009 and where we hope, with His help and in His will, to see fruit in 2010 for God's Kingdom.

Pastor Dave Baxter's New Year Message

10th January, 2012

Pastor Dave Baxter welcomed in the new year in the PBC News with a story of Hans Nielsen Hauge. That touch of God's hand and answer to prayer was the start of Hauge's God-driven mission to the whole of the Norwegian people. It was a time when Norwegians were emigrating to America and consequently, Hauge's teaching on repentance and salvation went over to the US with the Lutherans. What will God do in our lives this year? What are we praying for? Click on the header for the story and our Pastor's welcome in full. Happy New Year!
