JemmaJemma Alexander - Community Projects Leader

Jemma Alexander leads and oversees Pembury Community Action; the community projects in PBC. Jemma grew up in Tunbridge Wells, took a degree in Public Policy & Management and Sociology before working for three years as a Management Consultant in the City. In this role she gained valuable experience working for companies such as the European Space Agency, Sainsbury's, Inland Revenue and DSTL. After becoming a Christian Jemma felt God calling her to use her project management skills and passion for community transformation through the Local Church. Jemma is passionate about helping people discover who God made them to be and leading the church to serve the village of Pembury.

Jemma is married to Wayne and has two beautiful daughters called Grace and Belle. Jemma really enjoys coffee with friends, exploring The Lanes in Brighton and making the most of the rare moments she has to herself!!

PBC Pastor Wayne Alexander - News

At PBC's Church Meeting on Tuesday 20th July, Pastor Wayne Alexander shared the way God had been leading him and informed the church, subject to a members vote, that he would be taking up the Senior Minister role at Tonbridge Baptist Church. We wanted to share our sadness at Wayne's departure but a real sense of excitement in God's future plans for both him and for PBC . Day of Prayer and Fasting at PBC - Thursday 22nd July

21st July, 2010

On Thursday 22nd July, PBC is holding a Day of Prayer and Fasting for David Chaput who has received results from a recent blood test that appear to show that the present treatment is not as effective as previously. Please pray for David's healing, for his family, for strength and help in his busy schedule and for the love and peace of God to wrap them around. At 8pm on Thursday, Whole Church Prayer Meeting takes place in the Church Sanctuary to pray for David and to continue prayer during 24-7 Prayer Week here at PBC. All are welcome.

Pembury Fun Day took place on Saturday 10th July from 2pm to 5pm at Pembury Recreation Ground, off Lower Green Road. This was a great day, great weather and the opportunity to hear live music, enjoy food and drink, several choices of inflatables for the children, face painting and the choice of over 50 stalls!
