It has been good to see relationships and friendships deepen within our group. Members are very supportive and encouraging of each other.

We study God's word, pray and try to relate our Christian faith to our lives in relevant ways. We enjoy discussion, listening to leading speakers' tapes from meetings such as Detling and Christian music which allows reflection.

Group members are now leading occasionally and we are meeting in different homes as often as possible. We have enjoyed social occasions such as a meal, a birthday party and a DVD games evening which brought out the competitive element in some of us! We went as a group to the Christmas Party and had a thoroughly good boogie. An excellent way to round off 2007!

Pastor Dave Baxter's New Year Message

10th January, 2012

Pastor Dave Baxter welcomed in the new year in the PBC News with a story of Hans Nielsen Hauge. That touch of God's hand and answer to prayer was the start of Hauge's God-driven mission to the whole of the Norwegian people. It was a time when Norwegians were emigrating to America and consequently, Hauge's teaching on repentance and salvation went over to the US with the Lutherans. What will God do in our lives this year? What are we praying for? Click on the header for the story and our Pastor's welcome in full. Happy New Year!
