Petersfield Small Group started its life at the end of February 2009.  The leaders are Emily and Dan Tyler and Jennifer Roberts and is held on Thursday evenings, weekly, between 7.45pm and 9.45pm.

The group consists of between 10-15 people, aged between 19 and 59, and there is love already in meeting together to worship, investigating God's word and its relevance to lives today as well as witnessing and praying one for another.  It has been a real joy to build relationships and share with each other and although the group is new, there is an enthusiasm that we hope will be enduring throughout the coming months and years as we learn to love God more and love each other as ourselves.

The group is holding one social meeting a month to offer an opportunity for friends and spouses to come and meet those in the group, have a great time on a social level and build relationships there.

Pastor Dave Baxter's New Year Message

10th January, 2012

Pastor Dave Baxter welcomed in the new year in the PBC News with a story of Hans Nielsen Hauge. That touch of God's hand and answer to prayer was the start of Hauge's God-driven mission to the whole of the Norwegian people. It was a time when Norwegians were emigrating to America and consequently, Hauge's teaching on repentance and salvation went over to the US with the Lutherans. What will God do in our lives this year? What are we praying for? Click on the header for the story and our Pastor's welcome in full. Happy New Year!
