On Sunday 26th September, PBC is joining in the national initiative 'Back to Church Sunday', an annual set aside Sunday which provides a great opportunity to invite friends, family and neighbours along for a taster of 'church'. There are prayer cards and invitation cards available from the Church Welcome Table or the Church Office. Do start praying for those you would like to invite along to this 'Come as You Are' morning service, and give them the invitation card or just ask them! Rev. Wayne Alexander will be sharing the good news of Jesus with us after spending time in worship. You don't have to wait for an invite if you'd like to join us in worship - you're welcome anyway!
Fancy a night out with the men for a beer and a curry? The Men's Curry Night is on Friday 24th September starting at the Black Pig in Grove Hill Road, Tunbridge Wells at 7.30pm, followed by a meal at the Raj Pavilion next door from 8.00pm. There are only 25 tickets for this event so book now by calling Bren Fahy, David Marfleet or the Church Office on 01892 825590. It'll be a great night!
The church at PBC said goodbye to the Craggs on Sunday 22nd August, both during the morning service and at a picnic in Dunorlan Park as they leave for Simon to take up the Pastorate at Southborough Lane Baptist Church, near Bromley. For pictures of the event, click on the header to this article. For your diaries, Simon's induction at SLBC is on Saturday 18th September with Derek Tidball preaching, starting at 3pm.
