Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. " Matthew 11:28

At PBC we are committed to caring for one another in every season of life. Part of the joy of sharing life together as the people of God is to share one another's burdens in every circumstance of life.

We want to ensure that all who are in need have someone alongside them; someone pointing them to the love, compassion and healing of Jesus and offering practical help, prayer and advice.

Pastoral care is available in our church on a number of levels. When people attend our church regularly they are encouraged to join small groups, which are an important focus for pastoral care. Meanwhile, at a church wide level, pastoral care is available from pastoral visitors, from the three ministers and (shortly) from named individuals willing to be contacted on a confidential basis.

To talk with one of our Pastors, please phone the office on 01892 825590.

Testimony - Saved from Self Harm

4th February, 2010

Becky gave her testimony on being freed from the addiction of self harm when Rev. Philip Davis spoke on 'Transformation' and has kindly allowed us to reproduce her words on the website for encouragement to a wider audience. We praise God for her freedom from this debilitating but common issue among young people and pray that it might make a difference to others to hear her words.
