Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. " Matthew 11:28

At PBC we are committed to caring for one another in every season of life. Part of the joy of sharing together as the people of God is to share one another's burdens in every circumstance of life.

We want to ensure that all who are in need have someone alongside them; someone pointing them to the love, compassion and healing of Jesus and offering practical help, prayer and advice.

Pastoral care is available in our church on a number of levels. When people attend our church regularly they are encouraged to join small groups, which are an important focus for pastoral care. Meanwhile, at a church wide level, pastoral care is available from pastoral visitors. some willing to be contacted on a confidential basis.

To talk with one of the Pastoral Care Team, please phone the Office on 01892 825590, asking for Jennifer who will put you in touch with the right person for your need.

Pastor Dave Baxter's New Year Message

10th January, 2012

Pastor Dave Baxter welcomed in the new year in the PBC News with a story of Hans Nielsen Hauge. That touch of God's hand and answer to prayer was the start of Hauge's God-driven mission to the whole of the Norwegian people. It was a time when Norwegians were emigrating to America and consequently, Hauge's teaching on repentance and salvation went over to the US with the Lutherans. What will God do in our lives this year? What are we praying for? Click on the header for the story and our Pastor's welcome in full. Happy New Year!
