Our Ladies Breakfasts are approaching their 5th birthday! These Saturday morning events at Pembury's Ramada Jarvis Hotel have an average of 80 ladies coming along for a lovely morning consisting of an excellent breakfast, friendship and an inspiring talk by a speaker. The talks, while based on Christian principles, are very helpful for any woman with or without a Christian faith or church background. Our Ladies Breakfast are for all ladies, whether church attenders or not.

In the last year we have again had some excellent speakers, starting the year with Nina Welch who spoke on "Hints for coping with difficult situations", then Sarah Alton talking about a difficult life situation and how God helped her.

Fiona Castle spoke at our 4th birthday in May 2008. In July our own Joan Wales spoke and we sold out of her books! In the Autumn we had a talk on Wheelchairs for the World, and about the work of the Hospice by Pam Vale-Taylor. In March was Nan George from World in Need speaking on modern day slavery - a very thought provoking talk. Ramada Jarvis Pembury - Ladies Breakfasts

Testimony - Saved from Self Harm

4th February, 2010

Becky gave her testimony on being freed from the addiction of self harm when Rev. Philip Davis spoke on 'Transformation' and has kindly allowed us to reproduce her words on the website for encouragement to a wider audience. We praise God for her freedom from this debilitating but common issue among young people and pray that it might make a difference to others to hear her words.
