Our Ladies Breakfasts are approaching their 8th birthday! These Saturday morning events at Pembury's Ramada Jarvis Hotel have an average of 60 ladies coming along for a morning enjoying an excellent breakfast, friendship and an inspiring talk by a speaker. The talks, whilst based on Christian principles, are very helpful for any woman with or without a Christian faith or church background. Our Ladies Breakfast are for all ladies, whether church attenders or not.

Fiona Castle spoke at our 4th birthday in May 2008. In July our own Joan Wales spoke and we sold out of her books! In the Autumn we had a talk on Wheelchairs for the World, and about the work of the Hospice by Pam Vale-Taylor. In March was Nan George from World in Need speaking on modern day slavery - a very thought provoking talk. Ramada Jarvis Pembury - Ladies Breakfasts

Other speakers more recently have ranged from Anne Widdecombe to more local and lesser known ladies who have stories to tell for encouragement and challenge.

Pastor Dave Baxter's New Year Message

10th January, 2012

Pastor Dave Baxter welcomed in the new year in the PBC News with a story of Hans Nielsen Hauge. That touch of God's hand and answer to prayer was the start of Hauge's God-driven mission to the whole of the Norwegian people. It was a time when Norwegians were emigrating to America and consequently, Hauge's teaching on repentance and salvation went over to the US with the Lutherans. What will God do in our lives this year? What are we praying for? Click on the header for the story and our Pastor's welcome in full. Happy New Year!
