Church Diary and Calendar Front Page - Front Page diary and calendar

Small Groups are a great way to meet people, make friends and grow in your relationship with Jesus. Small Groups are at the heart of our church; Sundays are when the Small Groups come together. As PBC grew, we soon discovered that Sundays are too big to provide deep friendship. Small Groups are perfect for this.

You are welcome to visit two or three groups before deciding which one you prefer as they all vary. Our desire is that Small Groups become a place where hundreds of people can experience the goodness of God and the friendship of His people. Small Groups also reach out through social action and relationships - they`re not holy huddles!

Start by browsing the groups showing here to see which ones might suit you. Please do contact Tim Welch(01892 824065), our acting Small Group Ministry Leader, if you have any questions and he will be glad to help. Alternatively, please call the office on 01892 825590

We also encourage all Small Groups to engage in Frontline projects, if they can. Small Group leaders needing more information can be found here or by phoning Jemma Alexander on 01892 825590

Our small groups are divided into two clusters as follows:

Pastor Dave Baxter's New Year Message

10th January, 2012

Pastor Dave Baxter welcomed in the new year in the PBC News with a story of Hans Nielsen Hauge. That touch of God's hand and answer to prayer was the start of Hauge's God-driven mission to the whole of the Norwegian people. It was a time when Norwegians were emigrating to America and consequently, Hauge's teaching on repentance and salvation went over to the US with the Lutherans. What will God do in our lives this year? What are we praying for? Click on the header for the story and our Pastor's welcome in full. Happy New Year!
