Sunday Evenings at PBC - Hot chocolateOur Sunday evening cafe service officially begins at 6:30pm but many people arrive at 6:15 to enjoy the refreshments that are served at the beginning of the service.

The service lasts from 6:30pm - 8pm, and is based on a cafe style, starting with sung worship, icebreakers, a spoken word or DVD followed by group discussion questions relating to the Word.

These services are designed to help you to know Jesus more, to go deeper in relationship, study the Word, enjoy times of Worship and discover more by asking what you want to know.

The last Sunday evening in the month during term time is usually The Bridge, a service specifically for youth aged 11-18 although there are some exceptions.

Coming up:
Children of Promise - Joseph: Living the Dream

Sunday 8th January - Rev. Dave Baxter

Sunday 15th January - Dan Brown

Sunday 22nd January - Rev. Dave Baxter

Sunday 29th January - Monthly youth service - The Bridge for 11-18's

Sunday 5th February - Guest Speaker

Sunday 12th February - Rev. Dave Baxter

If you can't make the morning service, we encourage you to come and worship the Lord in the evening.  If you missed the sermon in the morning or evening, both can be found on this website usually by the following Monday morning except for All Age and The Bridge services.

Pastor Dave Baxter's New Year Message

10th January, 2012

Pastor Dave Baxter welcomed in the new year in the PBC News with a story of Hans Nielsen Hauge. That touch of God's hand and answer to prayer was the start of Hauge's God-driven mission to the whole of the Norwegian people. It was a time when Norwegians were emigrating to America and consequently, Hauge's teaching on repentance and salvation went over to the US with the Lutherans. What will God do in our lives this year? What are we praying for? Click on the header for the story and our Pastor's welcome in full. Happy New Year!
