Sunday Mornings

Sunday morning is our busiest service starting at 10am in the Church Sanctuary at Pembury Baptist Church, situated on Romford Road, just off Lower Green Road in Pembury.

Our exciting children's ministry, Promiseland, begins at 9:45am in the Church Hall alongside Pembury Baptist Church Sanctuary. Click here for more details about Promiseland.

The morning service includes relevant teaching, excellent music and worship, with space for worship and prayer. Whether you've never been to church or have been attending a church for 40 years, we believe you'll feel welcome at PBC and leave inspired.

Once a month, on the last Sunday morning in the month, PBC holds a morning service for all ages where the children and youth are in the service and the service has a more informal and young people related content.

The service is always relaxed and people are seated in rows. Most people arrive between 9:45 and 9:55 to get their seats and catch up briefly with people.

Pastor Dave Baxter will begin a new morning five week sermon series entitled 'Children of Promise: Jacob Man of Conflict' from Sunday 8th January running through to Sunday 12th February. This series will focus particularly on Jacob as a child of promise but a man of conflict.

Pastor Dave Baxter's New Year Message

10th January, 2012

Pastor Dave Baxter welcomed in the new year in the PBC News with a story of Hans Nielsen Hauge. That touch of God's hand and answer to prayer was the start of Hauge's God-driven mission to the whole of the Norwegian people. It was a time when Norwegians were emigrating to America and consequently, Hauge's teaching on repentance and salvation went over to the US with the Lutherans. What will God do in our lives this year? What are we praying for? Click on the header for the story and our Pastor's welcome in full. Happy New Year!
