9:30am – Sunday AM Prayer Meeting

In August we want to make the most of the Sunday evenings by spending a few weeks 7 Laws DVD 1using material that will either help you grow in your relationship with God or it will serve as a great introduction for you to the Christian faith.

It will be held in our usual, relaxed cafe environment and will use a compelling DVD resource called '7 Laws for Life' which will explore seven key spiritual principles that should be followed for a successful and effective Christian life. The late Selwyn Hughes considered this key teaching to be his legacy to future generations. In coming to these evenings you will gain:

  • A more positive outlook
  • Greater perseverance
  • Kingdom priorities and a much greater sense of God's presence and power in your life.

The seven 'laws' are:

  • Put first things first
  • Count your blessings
  • Keep on keeping on
  • Remember to forget
  • Give yourselves to others
  • Stay close to God
  • Cultivate your Soul.

These will be relaxing and stimulating evenings and will be equally ideal for people unfamiliar with church as it will be for someone who has never been before. The evening will feature refreshments, the DVD, facilitated discussion and acoustic musical performance (6.30 - 7.45pm). To see an excerpt, click here.
