Pembury Churches Together biannual Pembury Fun Day took place on Saturday 10th July from 2pm to 5pm at Pembury Recreation Ground, off Lower Green Road. We would like to praise the Lord for providing not only a hot day but also a breeze but we would particularly like to record His wonderful provision when, on the Wednesday before, the lorry that was to be the stage was impounded by the police and not going to be available, He answered prayer within an hour by providing not only another vehicle when all others were already hired out to the Paddock Wood Carnival but provided it free of charge.  A huge thank you to T&T Express who generously gave their vehicle plus a driver for nothing.

This was a huge success as Pembury villagers got together as a community, enjoyed live music, gymnastic displays, food and drink, bouncy castles, sumo wrestling and face painting and browse over 50 stalls!

If you were there, here's your opportunity to see if you got 'caught' by a photographer or if you couldn't make it, catch a flavour of this great afternoon by enjoying the photos below.

If you have more photos of earlier in the afternoon, please let the Church Office have them to add to this record of this wonderful expression of God's love in the village.

Back to Church Sunday - 26th September 2010

31st August, 2010

On Sunday 26th September, PBC is joining in the national initiative 'Back to Church Sunday', an annual set aside Sunday which provides a great opportunity to invite friends, family and neighbours along for a taster of 'church'. There are prayer cards and invitation cards available from the Church Welcome Table or the Church Office. Do start praying for those you would like to invite along to this 'Come as You Are' morning service, and give them the invitation card or just ask them! Rev. Wayne Alexander will be sharing the good news of Jesus with us after spending time in worship. You don't have to wait for an invite if you'd like to join us in worship - you're welcome anyway!
