At PBC, we feel that it's OUR responsibility to "clear the way" for you to come to church. We want you to be able to experience the great music, encouraging messages, friendly people and enjoyable atmosphere that are a part of PBC. And we know that your first time at a church, any church, brings up some questions. Here is a quick look at what you can expect:

Warm welcome

PBC entranceAt PBC, you will be warmly welcomed on your arrival by our friendly Welcome Team. This welcome is extended by all who regularly come to PBC. You won't be swamped with people coming to say hello, but PBC has a friendly, loving atmosphere. It's possible to come and hide in the crowd on a Sunday, but if you're visiting for the first time, please introduce yourself to the Welcome Team. Sundays are not the time when we get to know each other deeply; Small Groups and Serving is how we build deeper relationships.

Creative and excellent worship

Events header - events headerJoin in with all your heart, soul, mind and strength . . . don't hold back. Sing from your toes. Pray from your guts. Worship the Eternal Creator from your soul. It's not about perfect music; it's about joining the holy roar of a community honestly wrestling with what it means to follow their Creator. Whether its our fantastic worship band or the opportunity to watch an inspiring video or an invitation to spend time reflecting at different creative stations, PBC aims to provide excellent worship opportunities for all worship styles and personalities.

Relevant Biblical Teaching

Sermons header 2Our teachers seeks to inspire and provoke us into more faithfully following Jesus. We aim to explore scripture, share truth humbly and powerfully, and honestly face issues that matter to living in the 21st century. Each sermon series lasts from three weeks to eight weeks and covers a range of biblical passages and themes throughout the year. To see our sermons, click the link.

Opportunities to connect

Brown Small Group Header 1On a Sunday we aim to communicate through testimony, video and interview what God is doing throughout the PBC community and world. We also highlight events that are coming up and further ways you can connect with a serving opportunity or ministry.

Our Welcome Table is always available at the end of each service to sign up for events, find out more about particular ministries, or simply to introduce yourself!

Fun and faith filled children's ministry

Pastor Dave Baxter's New Year Message

10th January, 2012

Pastor Dave Baxter welcomed in the new year in the PBC News with a story of Hans Nielsen Hauge. That touch of God's hand and answer to prayer was the start of Hauge's God-driven mission to the whole of the Norwegian people. It was a time when Norwegians were emigrating to America and consequently, Hauge's teaching on repentance and salvation went over to the US with the Lutherans. What will God do in our lives this year? What are we praying for? Click on the header for the story and our Pastor's welcome in full. Happy New Year!
