Prayer
"They all joined together constantly in prayer" Acts1:14
Prayer is vital to everything we do as a church. We ask and encourage those who call PBC their spiritual home to be committed to growing in prayer.
The foundation of our corporate prayer activity is our regular prayer and worship meetings where we pray for PBC, our community, our own country and other nations. We have prayer gatherings before our Sunday services and a weekly prayer meeting on Monday mornings. There are also various other annual prayer events and opportunities to pray which will be promoted from time to time at church or on our website events calendar.
Sundays at 9.30am and 6.00pm
Join us in the Prayer Room to seek and call on God's blessing and Holy Spirit power before each of our services.
Mondays at 11.00am
We meet on Monday mornings at 11.00am in the Church Foyer to come before the Lord in prayer, worship and supplication in an unstructured meeting focussing on PBC's needs. All are welcome.
Tuesday at 8pm - monthly every first Tuesday
Prayer ministry
Prayer ministry is available after every service. The purpose of the prayer ministry team is to actively encourage and be available to pray for people needing prayer support. By being open and responsive to the working of the Holy Spirit, we pray that God's love, guidance and healing power would be released for the benefit of His people and to His glory. For more information on prayer ministry at PBC, or if you would like to be considered to join the prayer ministry team (training will be provided), please call Gail Chaput, Pastoral Care Deacon (including Prayer Ministry), on 01892 822188.
There is always space at PBC during opening hours for personal prayer - please feel free to pop along on the offchance or speak to Jennifer in the Church Office to check the church is open (01892 825590).
