Prayer
"They all joined together constantly in prayer" Acts1:14
Prayer is vital to everything we do as a church. We ask and encourage those who call PBC their spiritual home to be committed to growing in prayer.
The foundation of our corporate prayer activity is our regular prayer and worship meetings where we pray for PBC, our community and the nation(s). Every Friday to Saturday we aim to have 24 hours of unbroken prayer in our '24 every 7' prayer meeting. We have a regular prayer gathering for the suffering church, as well as prayer gatherings before our Sunday services. There are also various other annual prayer events and opportunities to pray which will be promoted from time to time at church or on our website events calendar. These include a full week of 24/7 prayer planned for June 2008.
Sundays at 9.30am and 6.00pm
Join us in the prayer room to seek and call on God's blessing and Holy Spirit power before each of our services.
24 every 7
A key aspect of our rhythm as a church is our weekly discipline to pray for 24 consecutive hours from Friday at 12pm to Saturday 12pm. Individuals are invited to sign up for an hour of the prayer chain which takes place in our prayer room. Each month has a special theme as an optional guide for the person praying. Art materials are provided. Some people come in pairs or triplets to pray; husbands and wives also make use of the hour to pray together. Please call the office during the week on 01892 825590 to book an hour or pop by and write the hour on the prayer room door.
Suffering church prayer meeting

Prayer Community at the Dunbars

There is no agenda set at this meeting as they seek God to guide them in how to pray for our pastors, church leaders, church events, Pembury village. You are warmly invited. For more information, please call James or Sharon Dunbar on 01892 837091
Prayer ministry
Prayer ministry is available after every service. The purpose of the prayer ministry team is to actively encourage and be available to pray for people needing prayer support. By being open and responsive to the working of the Holy Spirit, we pray that God's love, guidance and healing power would be released for the benefit of His people and to His glory. For more information on prayer ministry at PBC, or if you would like to be considered to join the prayer ministry team (training will be provided), please call Gail Chaput, Prayer Ministry Leader, on 01892 822188
