deeper - deeperlogoDeeper (11-14's)

Sundays at PBC Youth Hut from 10.00am

Deeper is a Sunday small group for 11-14's all about going deeper with our relationships with God and going deeper into the Bible.  It's all about growing our faith, exploring the bible and seeing how relevant it is to our lives today.  It's about deepening our relationships not only with God but also with each other.  It's about our lives having deeper meaning.  It's all about going deeper.

We meet at Pembury Baptist Church Youth Hut on Sunday mornings at 10.00am.

Youth Small Group - Youth small groupSmall Groups (11-18)

Our 11-14's small groups (Lads Group & Girls group) meet weekly for the opportunity to have fun together, but also to know God better. Our 15-18's small groups run every other week at Leader's homes. The aim is to be together as young Christians, to have a laugh, and to be intentional about our relationship with God.

Socials

Once a month on a Friday, the 11-14's have a social. These range from Ice-skating, bowling or Thorpe Park to church-based events like "X-Factor Evening" and The Christmas Party. 15-18's socials run once a month and our organised by the young people themselves. Each small group takes it in turns to organise a social. So far we've enjoyed make-over night, 6 year old birthday night and Scottish night. No Agenda is our post-evening service social for all ages and takes place in the Youth Room.

The Bridge - PBC's Youth Service

Services

"The Bridge" is our monthly youth service. The aim is that it's a totally different way of doing church, and is designed for 11-18's. We have loud worship (led by Drenched, PBC's Youth Band), games and a great talk looking at what God thinks about issues relevant to teengers.

Pastor Dave Baxter's New Year Message

10th January, 2012

Pastor Dave Baxter welcomed in the new year in the PBC News with a story of Hans Nielsen Hauge. That touch of God's hand and answer to prayer was the start of Hauge's God-driven mission to the whole of the Norwegian people. It was a time when Norwegians were emigrating to America and consequently, Hauge's teaching on repentance and salvation went over to the US with the Lutherans. What will God do in our lives this year? What are we praying for? Click on the header for the story and our Pastor's welcome in full. Happy New Year!
