Physical Attendance of Sunday Services

15th  April 2021

Dear friends,

We are really looking forward to the day when we can physically meet altogether for a Sunday Service without restrictions! If the government’s roadmap continues as planned the date for this is Sunday 27th  June. Our intention, even beyond this point, is to continue with the livestreaming, so that we are accessible to everyone. Please pray for this transition to a ‘hybrid’ service.

In the meantime, from Sunday 25th  April we would like to open up the livestream broadcast for a few who would like to attend. We tried this a couple of times before but entered lockdown each time! We have undertaken a fresh risk assessment and are confident we have implemented all appropriate safety measures. Please be aware that the following restrictions will of necessity be in place:

  • Maximum of 15 people in the congregation (to start with)
  • Face coverings must be worn
  • Social distancing must be maintained, before, during and after the service (no mingling)
  • Singing is not permitted
  • A written register will be kept of all in attendance each week
  • Hand sanitiser is to be used upon entry/exit
  • You must pre-book by Friday lunchtime via the office (office@pemburybaptistchurch.org   or  01892 825590 ) so we can arrange the seating accordingly
  • You must not attend if symptomatic
  • We encourage you not to attend if you are vulnerable
  • Please be punctual, arriving at 9.50-9.55

The main focus will be on the livestream, so it will feel a bit more like being a live studio audience than being a congregation as before – at least for the time being. Please bear with us as we transition.

God bless

Dan and the Trustees
